Happenings of Fall 2007
Our fabulous church sent all of the Lifeline leaders to Camp Geneva for a time of praising, training, and playing. We sang, listened, learned, ate some great snacks, and played some great games. One of the games was dodgeball. It's not one of my favorite games, but all the guys and most of the girls dug it. I didn't take too many pictures, but I did take a few. These are some of the friends we have made so far. We are waiting for our turn to get pummeled by the other teams who were much bigger than ours.
The Mr. and I had the privilege of going to a very unique wedding reception. It was a Halloween theme and everyone was asked to dress in costumes. I went as a witch and the Mr. was the Emperor of Darkness. We didn't win any of the prizes for our costumes, but we did have a fun time.
One of my very close friends moved to Eureka, CA. Before she went a bunch of her friends and I got to say TTFN (Ta Ta For Now for you non Winnie the Pooh people) over dinner at Fridays. It was a very fun and bittersweet evening. Vicki left with some really great presents and a promise to come home in a few years.
Vicki was my partner my first year as a Resident Assistant at our college. We became friends instantly and have remained friends. I will miss her, but I am very excited for her new job and the opportunities she'll have in California.
